A New Place to Blog
From now on I will occasionally blog at DeltaGypsy Studio. Google insists that members share more and more of their personal lives by linking all things Google. If I want to share I will say when I want to share. I shouldn't have to opt-out. Google has become another Fookbase. "Do no harm." That is BS. Goodbye Blogger/Google. You have crossed the line. Any comments should be made at my WordPress blog. I will not return to this blog. So long.

Completed Jackrabbit
Finally completed my colored pencil drawing of a jackrabbit. It is from a photo I took several years ago. I thought he or she was a splendid looking rabbit. Hope I did it justice. The 5" x 7" drawing has been scanned, enhanced and printed as note cards. The original will be shown in our local art show this month.

Jackrabbit Progress
Just about finished with the body of the jackrabbit. Using the iPad app, Artrage, to play with backgrounds before putting pencil to paper. Used Filterstorm to prepare rabbit photo for import to Artrage.

This is an extreme close up of the damselfly from my watercolor titled "Little Blue". (19x 27 inches) The much publicized photo of the "dragonfly" contaminated with oil from the Deepwater Horizon blowout is actually a damselfly.

It was seven years ago today I got up and walked away Work was going out of style Thought I'd take a break for a while... After 27+ years at the Denver Zoo, I retired to begin a new chapter in this affair we call life.
