This repository has a two fold purpose. One, to keep a record of the watercolor, water soluble oil and colored pencil pieces I paint and their evolution. Secondly, to maintain a record of my past, and possibly future, writings.

More of "Dark Light"

I found several photos showing the evolution of "Dark Light'. They aren't that different but show small changes in the painting.



Above, I had a different look of the water and had not started on the lighthouse.

Below I changed the water and more or less completed the structure. I changed the look of the water several times and still don't know if I'm satisfied.




And here I added some color to the sky...

I can't believe how much you can change the appearance of your paintings. It is amazing.

I could never do it, wouldn't know where to start, but I really like to see the images you post.

Think you have an amazing eye for detail.
